DragonLance

Today I am reading Dragons of a Vanished Moon from the DragonLance series. This is the third volume of The War of Souls. This book is the last in a series by Weis and Hickman that has lead to the creation of over one hundred other DragonLance novels and anthologies by many authors.
There are even movies and figures that are based on the series. Some people have made a D and D game based on this and even have a blog to go on and create a world beyond the books.

One Day

I have now finished the Matt Reilly series. In one instance I took out a book and returned it the next day. Now I am reading the Dragonlance books. This is a great change from the modern world that Reilly's books take place in. But since the last book I read was The 6 Sacred Stones it still deals with something that is ancient and out of the ordinary. Dragons of the Fallen Sun by Weis and Hickman in the Dragonlance series also talks about the past civilizations that were greater and ,hopefully as they go on, surpassing the past.

Books

The Diamond Sutra is the oldest complete printed book with a known date. But the most known in the west is the Gutenberg Bible which is old but not as old as the Diamond Sutra. But, this book was sold for 5.4 million. The price is a record for a book at an auction and more than doubles the price of 2.2 million for a copy of the book in 1978.

Silly Statues

On creative commons the default image was on flowers. I had originally thought about posting images on silly statues after the gnome statue, but there didn't appear to be any images that I liked. In the end it was decided that flowers it was. This image gives off the impression of a fantasy world with the cloud lighted by the moon and the stars showing so clearly.

Book

Today I am reading the book titled The Sword of Shannara. Currently I'm on page 404 and I wonder how things will end. As a trilogy the book needs to finish one story and leave room for another to continue it.

But looking at this image of a gnome you have to wonder what exactly the danger is.

Paper Clips

Paper clips can come in all different colors and varieties. This example is one example of art with paper clips. Then there are paper clip holders which do something similar. I will probably go off on similar tangents as this goes on.
